	8-14-2010	Car Wash - This Saturday (8/28) - 9am to 2pm Circle K - 434 at Rangeline Proceeds to benefit Winter Guard Contact: suezq14444@yahoo.com "The one thing I will always remember about the Marching Greyhounds was all the fun I had chaperoning at the games...the kids and parents were so much fun." This Monday evening at 7:00pm  there will be an important meeting for all new and returning chaperones (yes, we need the veterans to attend).  With 300+ students this year, it is important to review all the procedures and roles for the home and away games (as well as the competitions). In addition, show shirts will be available for purchase or order at the meeting. If you have any questions, please contact Elena at chaperones@lymanband.com or Terri at president@lymanband.com Prior to attending the meeting, please make sure that you are registered a s dividend with the school district. Each year you must re-register.   The sign-up for the upcoming school year is now available online: Click Here Free UCF All-State Clinic - Each year, the music faculty at UCF (along with special some guest instructors) host a clinic for students to help prepare them for the FBA All-State auditions.  This year the clinic will be help on Saturday, august 28th.  All the details, including the required registration form can be found here: http://music.ucf.edu/camps/allstate.php

	5-10-2010	Rehearsal schedule for upcoming band showcase: 2nd period only: Thursday, May 13 2:30-4:30 4th period only: Wednesday, May 19 2:00-3:30 7th period only: Thursday, May 20 2:30-4:30 All classes: May 24, 2:30-5:00 Remember, concert band uniform is required. White dress/tux shirt, black pants (not black jeans), black tie and cummerbund (provided and passed out during warmup), black dress shoes and BLACK socks for guys.
